News: Il President del Circolo Italiano, Professor Serenella Sferza, e' stata nominata Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana (2 Giugno, 2009). Il 3 Febbraio 2010, anche il Professore Dante Della Terza, Professore Emeritus ad Harvard University e Presidente del Circolo Italiano negli anni settanta, e' stato nominato Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana. Congratulazioni ad entrambi. Nora Rossi, vedova di Bruno Benedetto Rossi, Emeritus MIT Professor of Physics, e' deceduta l'8 Dicembre 2009 a New York. Le nostre piu' sentite condoglianze a tutta la famiglia Lombroso-Rossi. Nora ha contribuito alla rivitalizzazione e all'altissimo livello culturale delle attivita'del Circolo Italiano dagli anni cinquanta-sessanta al presente. Il Circolo Italiano ne e' estremamente grato e ne sentira' moltissimo la mancanza.

The Executive Committee of the Circolo Italiano di Boston wants to thank everybody who made a donation for the victims of the earthquake in L'Aquila, last April 2009. We want to let you know that we proceeded to make a donation toward the Language Laboratory of the Istituto Superiore Liceo Domenico Cotugno, in L'Aquila. Their building was severely damaged and they had to relocate into a new -- empty -- building. Thank you again for your generous gift.
